There's a woman I design for. She runs meetings in the morning and wanders markets on the weekend. She is decisive and dreamy, precise and playful. She doesn't choose between these things — she is all of them, and her jewellery should be too.

Lechelle Petite began in Singapore as a conversation about beauty — specifically, why it had to cost so much to feel genuine?

I believed then, as I believe now, that a piece of jewellery chosen with a good eye and made with real craft is worth wearing every day, not saving for special occasions.

So I built a world where that was possible.

I started Lechelle Petite because I believed beautiful jewellery shouldn't require a special occasion or a special budget — just a good eye. We make wearable art in Singapore, in small batches, using the most beautiful stones we can find — lab-grown, jadeite, and Akoya pearls direct from Japan. We've dressed women across four continents. And what we want to build is a world where the jewellery you wear every Tuesday feels as thoughtful as the woman wearing it.

In 2024, Lechelle Petite was commissioned to design for HRH Princess Hitachi of Japan and Mrs Kishida, the former First Lady of Japan. It was the commission that asked more of me than any other — and the one that confirmed what I had always believed: that jewellery made with genuine intention is recognised, wherever it is worn.

At Lechelle Petite, we don't choose sides. We choose the right stone for the right piece. We work with precision-cut lab stones because their colour and clarity can be extraordinary — and because beauty doesn't require a certificate of rarity to be real. We work with natural jadeite and Akoya pearls from Ise-Shima, Japan, because they carry something no laboratory can replicate: geological time, cultural memory, and a provenance that deepens with age. Every stone in every piece is chosen for one reason: because it is the most beautiful choice for that piece.
